Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Can Cake

This weekend I was working on a Groom's cake that was a giant replica of a Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer can. The main part of the label, with its ribbons and all the letters are cut from fondant, not forgetting the ring pull on top. The other lettering and leaves from the logo are all painstakingly painted by hand, and they all had to be repeated on the reverse side. Very pleased how it turned out.

Inside is a three tier Peanut butter cake with amaretto moccha filling. This cake was delivered to a wedding reception at The Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange NJ.

  1. I came up with the same idea for a friend and came up with your picture after a google search. How much did this cake cost in general. I was wondering if the bakery I commissioned would be able to do this and what price to expect.
