We designed this yellow three tier round cake for a Baby Shower at the Publick House Tavern in Chester NJ. The bottom tier is chocolate fudge cake with Madagascar vanilla bean filling, sliced fresh strawberries and cream, while the upper tiers are red velvet cake with cream cheese and white chocolate filling. Fondant stripes, polka dots and bows decorate the cake, which is topped by a train and wagons carrying small gift boxes.

I created this Boombox cake with Monster headphones for a birthday surprise. The fondant is airbrushed with a sheen of silver food coloring. Inside is a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate cream filling.
We also baked a selection of individually wrapped boombox cookie favors to match the cake.

A peacock feather theme three tier wedding cake delivered to the Freeman Gardens in Glen Ridge NJ. The bottom tier is Coconut cake with Passion Fruit cream filling and the upper tiers are Chocolate fudge cake with Madagascar Vanilla Bean filling.
Ivory colored fondant covers the cake, which is decorated with peacock feather eye shapes and swiss dots, pull strings piped around an elevated base, a bouquet of red sugar roses and with real feathers as the cake topper.

A two tier Pure White Vanilla cake with chocolate cream filling and a chocolate fudge cake with Madagascar vanilla bean filling. The cake is decorated with two tier farm animals (cows, sheep, a pig, a horse and ducks), trees, a duck pond, daisies, clouds and topped with a red tractor towing a green cart full of corn.
We also made a selection of individually wrapped bright red tractor cookies to match the cake. Delivered to a fun farmyard birthday party in Boonton NJ.

A three tier round wedding cake delivered to the Twin Maples Historic House in Summit NJ. The cake is chocolate fudge with Madagascar vanilla bean filling.
The violet colored fondant is surrounded by a light blue fondant ribbon and with tiny pearls on each side. It is then decorated with bouquets of hydrangeas in different shades of blue.

A four tier topsy turvy wedding cake for a reception held at the Inn at Mill Race Pond in Hope NJ.
The bride chose vanilla cake with raspberry cream and lemon curd filling, covered in a pale yellow fondant. She also requested the top tier be extra wonky!
Sugar hydrangea flowers encircle each tier and then a bouquet of hydrangeas, roses and lillies top the cake.

A square three tier ivory cake with gold accents for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration at Above Restaurant in South Orange NJ.
The cake is French Vanilla with Hazelnut and Cappuccino cream fillings. It is decorated with golden fondant pearls, ivory drapes, golden roses and looped bows on top. We included a framed edible image from the couple's original wedding cake cutting ceremony.
The gold accents took time but are worth the effort to achieve a fine touch for such a special occasion. I used an edible gold lustre dust and dipped a small amount of alcohol on the brush to create a golden paint.
A generous mom in Short Hills NJ ordered this three tier almond cake with Madagascar vanilla bean filling to surprise her son and future bride at their Engagement party.
The bottom tier is a gift box in raspberry colored fondant with a lid in an embossed floral design. A second square tier has fondant hearts, while the round third tier has stripes and a white drape wavy lid, topped with a bunch of red fondant bows and several other large bows around the cake.

The cake is covered in a pale violet fondant, each tier is surrounded by darker violet fondant ribbon and then covered with calla lillies and lavender colored roses cascading down its front.

The bride wanted to buy a bright yellow Lamborghini Murcielago supercar to surprise the Groom at their wedding reception at The Rockleigh in Bergen County, NJ. We created this scale replica made of Chocolate Fudge cake and Dark Chocolate Ganache.
I also added the open wing doors she requested, with figurines depicting the bride and groom inside this fabulous car.

A surprise cake for a party in West Orange NJ. Inside this replica of a True Religion shopping bag is red velvet cake with cream cheese filling, covered in fondant and hand painted. I modified the piped lettering to read Happy Birthday in the same style as the logo on the bag.

This weekend I was working on a Groom's cake that was a giant replica of a Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer can. The main part of the label, with its ribbons and all the letters are cut from fondant, not forgetting the ring pull on top. The other lettering and leaves from the logo are all painstakingly painted by hand, and they all had to be repeated on the reverse side. Very pleased how it turned out.
Inside is a three tier Peanut butter cake with amaretto moccha filling. This cake was delivered to a wedding reception at The Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange NJ.
